Description This is an entry level training class under close supervision and guidance in the Fire Department.
Requirements
1) Age Limits: Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of application. At the time of application, applicants must present a current Driver's License, certified Birth Certificate, Naturalization papers, or Baptismal Papers showing a birth date. 2) Applications will be accepted only from High School graduates. Proof of graduation (either original High School Diploma or original G.E.D. issued by a State Department of Education) must be presented at the time of application. 3) Good physical and psychological condition to perform the essential functions of the job of Fire Recruit. 4) Arrests and convictions for felonies or numerous misdemeanors are disqualifying. 5) Applicants must have a driver's license on their person during all phases of application and examination.
